WIAW – Big Plate Takeover

Guess what day it is. Guess what day it is. It’s What I Ate Wednesday! πŸ˜€ This week, my hunger has been up and down, left and right; basically all over the place. I have been craving foods like none other! When I learn how to drive, late night craving trips will be in order. πŸ˜‰ As for now, here are some of my eats on BIG plates that I have eaten this week.

A turkey burger on a bed of spinach, steamed cauliflower, and quinoa.

Those were some of my eats from the past week. If you didn’t notice by now, I am a very hungry girl.;)

  1. Ditto on the good old appetite being all over the place this past little while! Someone seriously needs to take the cereal boxes away from me. And speaking of cereal boxes… I’m kind of in love with the fact that you top your oats with cereal. I’ve done that before, and I have to admit that it’s kind of freaking epic.

  2. Your foods look like the type of foods I like to eat! It’s so sad, but my appetite is pretty much always non-existant. I don’t know why, but I never really feel hungry or full, I just kind of eat because I know I have to. I know – sad! I’ve never tried putting cereal on oatmeal (or porridge as we call it down under!) it intrigues me…

  3. Everything looks so delicious! Especially the french toast and pancakes delicious looking indeed!

    I’ve not been as hungry this week but I think it has been due to the painkillers I’ve been taking. Best thing I ate this week was a breakfast platter with my mum.

  4. Holy yum! Thank you for reminding me that cabbage still exists and is super delicious! It’s one of those things that I just kind of forgot about, will probably make, and be obsessed for a while. I used to love putting hot sauce on it after I steamed it. Not gonna lie though, it’s the best cooked in bacon grease… Favorite restaurant? Oh gosh. I can’t pick! Right now I’m really craving Chipotle so does that count? Happy Saturday, girl!

    • I have these cabbage kicks like no otha! Hot sauce just adds that right flavor to so many things. Seriously, I’ve been using it like it’s nobody’s business. πŸ˜€ Chipotle sounds so good right now. I was actually craving a burrito from there earlier!

  5. I love adding some crunchiness to my egg white oats as well! Lately I’ve been going with roasted slivered almonds. So good, but now I want to try cereal on top.
