WIAW – I Guess You Can Say I Eat A Lot

Woah, it’s already Wednesday? This week has been speeding by! Can it please slow down so I can fully enjoy my break? 

My appetite has really grown over the past week. I don’t know what it is, but my stomach is always crying out for it to be fed. Well, you know I have to listen. The body wants what the body wants. I have been filling up my plates pretty generously. By no means am I stressing about it. Like Arman said, we have to honor our hunger. This will be pretty evident in my post to day. Sit back, relax, and get prepared to get hungry. 😉

  1. Yum! All your meals are so vibrant and varied- I love the combination of proteins and of course, those oats!

    Favourite veggie- cauliflower! I eat half a day roasted. Amazing. Or kabocha. Even more amazng. Or just both together…

I’m glad you’ve been honoring your hunger signals and eating whenever you feel hungry, not trying to convince yourself that you “aren’t hungry yet.” I definitely did that quite a bit when I was struggling with orthoreixa and convincing myself that I had to eat only at certain times of the day. Your meals look delicious–well, at least the ones without meat, since I am a vegetarian/almost completely vegan 😉 Those quinoa black bean chips look particularly tasty–what brand are they? My favorite oatmeal combination is oats cooked with a mixture of water/almond milk and 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Actually, I just love cocoa powder in just about any type of breakfast food–oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, smoothies, etc…I hope you have a wonderful day!

      Cocoa powder always adds a nice flavor. 🙂

  3. That little burrito baby looks better than Chipotle woman! I don’t think I can pick a favorite veggie, I’ve tried SO many times and always fail. If I absolutely had to, broccoli, then brussels.

    Mmk. I need to try your cottage cheese combo with sweet oats, you’ve got me curious 😯 I can totally get the sweet & savory combo. It also helps pack some protein if your running low on egg whites (which I am)…SIGH, I go through 2 large cartons a week. Ridic.

    Do you eat white beans by preference? I’ve played around with black neas, chickpeas, and kidney beans…I have yet to try white beans. Hmmmm…..

    • Haha I’ve gotten pretty good with my wrapping skills. 😉
      I literally crave steamed broccoli. Is that weird? Nahhh.

      Definitely do it and tell me what you think! It adds a nice touch of flavor and a mouthwatering texture.
      I got through so many egg whites.

      I do like white beans. They are pretty tasty. 🙂

  4. I’m right there with you on the ravenous appetite, girl! The other day I was literally eating something every 20 minutes, which was kind of annoying, but not as annoying as letting the hunger monster win and trying to get through the day with a rumbling stomach. All your eats look so good and nourishing — you’re definitely doing your body all sorts of favours by listening to your hunger cues 😀
