Rejoiced and Rejuvenated (MIMM)

This weekend was definitely one filled with self rejuvenation. I decided that I needed a break from going out and just spending time at home. Lately I have been going out more with friends and enjoying that time, but I really just needed  a weekend in with all of this stress I am under. I have to tell you, I have never felt better on a Monday.

Marvelous was.. going on a night hike with friend on Friday. I have never been night hiking before, so this was a really new experience for me. Lately, I have a new found love for the mountains. I seriously want to go there every single weekend. Good thing I will be moving closer to them soon. 😉 Anywho, it was really nice to just be with a friend and becoming one with nature. When we got to the top, I saw the prettiest view. I decided to leave my phone in the car, so I didn’t get a picture, but we all have to step away from technology sometimes.

Marvelous was.. listening to my cravings and getting In-N-Out. If you live on the west coast of the U.S.A., you know exactly what I mean when I say they have the best burgers. Everything is fresh. You can see them make all of the food, even the french fries. I can’t get enough of it.


Marvelous was.. watching the Sister Act 1 & 2 with my mom. We haven’t had a movie night in a while, so we decided to have one. Those movies are hilarious! If you haven’t seen them, I highly recommend them. We were laughing nonstop. 🙂

Marvelous was.. being able to have time to workout. I admit that I have been lacking in the workout department, but I did get in some good workouts. I have been feeling the soreness, so that’s a good sign, right? 😉 I’m going to start working out at 4:30 again, because with the way school is now, I won’t have time in the afternoon/evenings. I love working out and how it makes me feel, so it’s all good. 🙂

Marvelous was.. stretching and almost being able to do the splits! Stretching and yoga has really helped with my flexibility. I’m loving it!

Marvelous was.. taking a nap on Saturday. Need I say more?

Marvelous was.. spending Easter with my parents and cooking dinner and dessert for them. They really enjoyed the time off from chores and to just relax. My future husband will be one lucky man, haha! 😀


Marvelous was.. organizing all of my work, creating lists, and preparing for the week ahead. Thank you for the tips! They really do help. 🙂

  1. ohhhh a night hike sounds so fun! I haven’t been on a good hike in so long, it actually depresses me, but I guess that’s what happens when you live in the big city!! Kudos to you for being able to do the splits!! I can… touch my toes. Does that impress you? lol I literally have the WORST flexibility ever seeing as how I was born with jacked up hips, but I also don’t stretch as much as I should!!

  2. Natalie I only LOVE Sister Act 1 aaaaaaaand 2. Seriously those movies are so friggin funny!! I watched Frozen with my parents this weekend (I’ll admit it’s like my 3rd time watching it!). They adored it and it made for a very sweet easter!
