A Big Collection of Eats (WIAW)

Hey, hey, hey! 

I don’t know about you, but when I have a lot going on in my life, my eats tend to be on the larger side. The big plates have returned as well as constant cravings for both treats and veggies. Does anyone else crave vegetables or is it just me? I have found that balance in my life where I will eat food for the body and food for the soul. I no longer fear eating out. I have found comfort with both my body and have fixed my relationship with food. These past two weeks have been filled with food that has gotten me through workouts, studying, and moving. I hope you’re ready for a buttload of food pictures. 🙂

A Grilled Chicken Club with fries from BJ’s.


Chicken Enchilads with rice and beans from Chili’s.

Easter dinner: Honey glazed ham, mashed sweet potato, corn, fresh green beans, and a biscuit.


Turkey hot dogs, chicken, mashed sweet potato, and veggies.


Baked chicken, quinoa, rutabaga, and zucchini.

  1. Ahh I am a big fan of all the foods I see before me 😀 and I’m with you, I also crave veggies! I have always been that token weird child that likes vegetables and goes back for more. I am not a huge fan of eating out, partly ED driven, but also partly because there really isn’t anywhere to go that isn’t a chain ‘cafe’ type restaurant where I live. I much prefer to eat lunch out somewhere in a food court or something. When I am stressed all I want is peanut butter!

  2. That sweet spot is a pretty awesome place to be, eh? 🙂 I’m glad to hear that you’ve found peace with body and food — it makes life so much easier when we’re not waging war with ourself. And I can completely relate to needing to load up on the food when life gets crazy… How else are we supposed to find the energy to be brilliant?

  3. Your pictures are beautiful! I try not to eat when I am stressed because it gives me indigestion and food never tastes good when eaten with anxiety. My favorite restaurant is a small place near my home called Agava. Everytime I go to Chilis I forget they put a spicy sauce on everything that makes my lips sting =P
