Good afternoon! 🙂
I had the pleasure earlier this week to take a mini trip with my boyfriend to Flagstaff, AZ to go play in the snow before it all melted! It was kind of a last minute idea, but never-the-less we had an amazing time!
Also, I finally got the chance to film for the first time with my new camera that I got back a few months ago. I’ve been wanting to record videos for the longest time, but I’ve always shied out of actually filming a video. Although this was just testing the water to see how I felt with the camera, I actually quite enjoyed filming the trip! I do admit that I went a little overboard with the speed, but it was my first time editing a personal video with a new editing program.
At the beginning of the trip, we went to Northern Arizona University to meet up with two of my friends from middle school! It was a last minute trip, so we only got a cup of hot chocolate at Starbucks and walked around the campus a bit. Little did I know how windy it was, and I was only wearing jeggings. /: It was so nice catching up with them a bit and see how they have been all of these years, but unfortunately we did not get to take any pictures together.
Afterwards, we went to Wendy’s to have a small meal and decide where we were going to go next. Wing Mountain closed at 4 p.m., so we decided to make our way up there just to see if there were any open fields to play in. Luckily, we found a little field on the side of the road to play in! I couldn’t contain myself when I saw all of the open area to make a snowman and play around in. 🙂
Of course we took a few pictures before actually going into the snow, because how can you not take any pictures on a vacation?! Once we finished, I practically darted into the snow to go build my first snowman! It was a process, but well worth it to create Oswald! What an accomplishment he was to me; my first ever snowman! 😀 After we finished him, we wrestled a bit in the snow and explored the woods a bit. It was such a magical feeling to be there and experience nature’s beauty. It saddened me to leave, but it was such a memorable trip that I have captured in the video.
My boyfriend, Donald, was kind enough to be the film-man while I got to soak up the snow and all of its goodness! It was a bit rough to make this video flow together well with all of the different random clips, but I will get better as time goes on. I hope you enjoy my video, and don’t get too dizzy from the shaking in the beginning. 😉 ALSO, please provide feedback with what would be good video ideas and what content you’d like to see! I will be experimenting a lot, so I hope you enjoy what is to come. 🙂
Thank you again and have an amazing weekend! ❤
-What kind of videos should I start making?
-Do you enjoy the snow or the heat?
-Have you ever made a snowman?
