I’m excited that I am getting into more of a routine with blogging again! The most frequent posts that I usually always kept going was What I Ate Wednesdays. What can I say? Food is my passion. 😉 I’ve taken the route of filming my food instead of taking pictures. I do want to work on my photography skills, but I am saving that for inanimate objects, scenery, and people. I really want to work on filming and editing videos, so watch out for more videos coming your way! I have quite a few ideas in mind already that I am excited about! Any whoooo, this post is suppose to be about food, so press play and enjoy the eats. 🙂

Breakfast: Whole wheat toast topped with strawberry cream cheese, an egg, ham, green beans, and coffee. (Surprise surprise. ;))

Smoothie: Frozen blueberries, spinach, ice, and almond milk. (I ran out of banana! Sad day..)

Lunch: Greek yogurt + apple slices + peanut butter, ham, grapes, and my smoothie.

Dinner: Green chile pork enchiladas!

No dessert. 😮

W.I.A.W ; Double Edition!

Good morning/afternoon/evening! ❤

Since I fell off of the blogging spectrum, I decided that I should combine last weeks and this weeks W.I.A.W posts together! I decided to stop the macro counting (again) and learn how to listen to my body’s hunger signals. I have to say, it is going quite well so far, and I am loving the progress! I’ll let the videos do all of the talking now. 🙂

*Side note: Something spectacular happened last week, and I wanted to share it with you! I squatted 225 lbs! I would have never thought I would ever come close to that! 😮

BREAKFAST: High fiber english muffin with peanut butter and strawberry cream cheese, ham, and coffee.

LUNCH: Vanilla egg white oats topped with blueberries and peanut butter.

DINNER: Tacos with shredded chicken and broccoli.

DESSERT: Probiotic yogurt + peanut butter + cheerios, honey nut cheerios with almond milk, and two of my moms homemade white chocolate + milk chocolate chip cookies.

WIAW: Finally Balanced with Food

I’m into my fourth week of school (I’m still surprised on that!) and I am getting more adjusted to the schedule. My days are typically gym in the morning, classes from 10:30 am – 3:30 pm , and then do what I have to do afterwards. I also want to mention in the intro that I have just been feeling so blessed, comfortable, and happy lately. Seriously, this is the first time in such a long time that I am genuinely happy and comfortable with my eating. I usually stress over macros and calories, but now I am just eating. You guys, I’M ACHIEVING BALANCE finally. You don’t understand how happy this makes me! ^_^

WIAW: Anyone on the Same Boat?

I’m going to need some advice from you guys. Lately, I haven’t been hungry.. like at all. It’s to where I have sudden urges that I’m hungry, but then they just vanish. When the feeling vanishes, I get this feeling that I don’t want to eat at all. With my activity level and the energy I need for school now, I have just been eating food just to keep functioning. After I finish eating, I’m usually bloated and want to sleep for hours on end. I’ve also been getting some serious headaches lately.. I just think that’s from the heat. Has anyone else experienced this or something like this? I keep thinking it’s just the weather changes or my stress eating at me, but I don’t know..

I’m pretty much exhausted from the work load of school, work, and training, so I’m sorry for not captioning the pictures. I hope you enjoy my recent eats, and please comment below if you think you can help me in anyway for what I described above. Thank you. 🙂

It’s been quite some time since I last said that.. a few months I have to say. I’m sorry about that. *blush face emoji* I will let you know that I am still eating a good deal amount of food, and my belly has been more than satisfied! Although I haven’t documented all my eats (Various cakes.. Reeses ice cream.. just an aray of treats..), I have documented a great deal of delicious food. I am back in school, but I am not sticking to the cookie cutter sandwich, fruit, veggie, chips combo. I have ventured out and have been whipping food out left and right. I do admit that I have been going on and off with those phases where I keep eating the same meal because it’s just that good! Any who.. enough jibber jabber. I have to go do my classes, so I will let all the photos do the talking. Onto the eats!

It’s been quite some time since I have participated in the WIAW party. This summer has been filled with a lot of different flavor experiments and has given me the time to actually cook some new meals! I am a repeat offender, but they usually now only last a week and I move on to a new combination. I’m safe to say that summer vacation has officially set in (already), because I am already forgetting what day of the week it is. Haha, oops. 😉 I’ve had more time to spend in the kitchen, and my taste buds are surely thanking me for it. Yes, some of my eats may seem similar, but hey, if it isn’t broken, you can’t fix it. WIAW ; Smoothie Addiction Is Real

Happy Wednesday everyone! 😀

 

As you can tell from the title above, you can kind of guess my new addiction? I’m all settled into the new house and have been having more access to being creative in the kitchen! It’s been already reaching over 100 here (so not looking forward to it reaching over 115) and all I have been craving is smoothies. Amanda has posted some delicious thick smoothies lately, and I was dying to try them out. Granted, I didn’t follow them to the T, I pretty much followed the base essentials to them. I may or may not have ran out of oats at one point and that started this new rekindled love, but I have been having over every day. I am a sucker for a thick, creamy, and delicious drink. Sorry, Snapple, I have moved on to thicker and more versatile drinks. Don’t worry, I won’t neglect you. 🙂
