I’m excited that I am getting into more of a routine with blogging again! The most frequent posts that I usually always kept going was What I Ate Wednesdays. What can I say? Food is my passion. 😉 I’ve taken the route of filming my food instead of taking pictures. I do want to work on my photography skills, but I am saving that for inanimate objects, scenery, and people. I really want to work on filming and editing videos, so watch out for more videos coming your way! I have quite a few ideas in mind already that I am excited about! Any whoooo, this post is suppose to be about food, so press play and enjoy the eats. 🙂

Breakfast: Whole wheat toast topped with strawberry cream cheese, an egg, ham, green beans, and coffee. (Surprise surprise. ;))

Smoothie: Frozen blueberries, spinach, ice, and almond milk. (I ran out of banana! Sad day..)

Lunch: Greek yogurt + apple slices + peanut butter, ham, grapes, and my smoothie.

Dinner: Green chile pork enchiladas!

No dessert. 😮

Goal Talk for April 2015

Good morning/afternoon/evening! 

At the beginning of this year, I made a promise to myself that I would set goals each month and do my very best to complete them all. I set multiple little goals to do, and those add up to the major goals that I have. It may seem like a lot, but they are little tweaks I can make to my life every day. I am thinking of doing goal posts at the beginning of each month and track my progress along the way! I already know that April is going to be an exciting month for me, so I set goals that I know I will more than likely achieve! I have a few things in the works, so some of these things will make sense later on. 🙂

Goals for April 2015:

1. Practice working on handstands! (I can do headstands, but I have been really hesitant on moving up to handstands.)

2. Be more consistent with my blogging. (My spark has come back, and I have quite a few projects in the works. :))

3. Get my license.

4. Save up my money and hopefully buy a car! (Super excited for this!)

5. Incorporate more HIITs into my workouts.

6. Drink more smoothies. (I started having a smoothie a day for the past week, and I’ve been loving it! Yummm.)

7. Reduce my coffee drinking down to one cup a day. (It’s been reaching up to four cups a day. :o)

8. Start drinking green tea again.

9. Don’t be so nervous to try out new exercises.

10. Stretch after every workout. (VERY important for your health.)

W.I.A.W ; Double Edition!

Good morning/afternoon/evening! ❤

Since I fell off of the blogging spectrum, I decided that I should combine last weeks and this weeks W.I.A.W posts together! I decided to stop the macro counting (again) and learn how to listen to my body’s hunger signals. I have to say, it is going quite well so far, and I am loving the progress! I’ll let the videos do all of the talking now. 🙂

*Side note: Something spectacular happened last week, and I wanted to share it with you! I squatted 225 lbs! I would have never thought I would ever come close to that! 😮

BREAKFAST: High fiber english muffin with peanut butter and strawberry cream cheese, ham, and coffee.

LUNCH: Vanilla egg white oats topped with blueberries and peanut butter.

DINNER: Tacos with shredded chicken and broccoli.

DESSERT: Probiotic yogurt + peanut butter + cheerios, honey nut cheerios with almond milk, and two of my moms homemade white chocolate + milk chocolate chip cookies.

T.O.L 11/13 ; New News!

Good morning and happy thinking out loud Thursday!

Thinking-Out-Loud

It’s been quite some time since I’ve participated in the link-up party. (Sorry, Amanda!) Life has been crazy busy lately, so typing up this post will let me put my mind at ease. 🙂

1. I cannot stop listening to Blank Space by Taylor Swift and The Heart Wants What It Wants by Selena Gomez. They are both so catchy, and I can’t get enough! I always catch myself humming or singing a tune from either one of the songs.

 

2. I got into this online game called Tera. If you don’t know what that is, it’s kind of like a mystical mid-evil game. I have a girl character named Day.dreaming. Her race is an elin and she’s a healer. I’ve been spending quite a few hours a day playing. o.o It’s soooooo fun!

 

3. I’ve been getting better at driving! I’ve finally went onto the major roads, and I’m still really nervous, but it’s been getting better! I just have to work on easing on the gas and brake. 😮

 

4. I’ve been lacking in the sleep department lately, but I find myself full of energy throughout the day. (After coffee of course. 😉 ) What is this madness?!

 

5. I am so so so ready for the cold weather. It has been hot for too long in Arizona. I’ve already got my beanies, sweaters, hoodies, mittens, scarves, and blankets all ready! 🙂

6. My diet Snapple peach tea kick is back! My mom bought a few packages for me, and they may or may not be already gone…

7. Did you hear about Toy Story 4 and the new minions movie coming out?! You guys, I don’t think you understand how excited I am about that!

 

8. I am on the hunt for an owl mug. I have been using some plain-Jane mugs lately, and I’ve been seeing a lot of cute owl mugs on Tumblr. If anyone knows of any places I can get a hold of, please leave a comment below. 🙂

9. I am so excited about being able to start lighting a fire in the living room. It’s going to make me even more excited about Christmas!

 

10. My birthday is in 26 days! ^_^

WIAW: Finally Balanced with Food

I’m into my fourth week of school (I’m still surprised on that!) and I am getting more adjusted to the schedule. My days are typically gym in the morning, classes from 10:30 am – 3:30 pm , and then do what I have to do afterwards. I also want to mention in the intro that I have just been feeling so blessed, comfortable, and happy lately. Seriously, this is the first time in such a long time that I am genuinely happy and comfortable with my eating. I usually stress over macros and calories, but now I am just eating. You guys, I’M ACHIEVING BALANCE finally. You don’t understand how happy this makes me! ^_^

WIAW: Anyone on the Same Boat?

I’m going to need some advice from you guys. Lately, I haven’t been hungry.. like at all. It’s to where I have sudden urges that I’m hungry, but then they just vanish. When the feeling vanishes, I get this feeling that I don’t want to eat at all. With my activity level and the energy I need for school now, I have just been eating food just to keep functioning. After I finish eating, I’m usually bloated and want to sleep for hours on end. I’ve also been getting some serious headaches lately.. I just think that’s from the heat. Has anyone else experienced this or something like this? I keep thinking it’s just the weather changes or my stress eating at me, but I don’t know..

I’m pretty much exhausted from the work load of school, work, and training, so I’m sorry for not captioning the pictures. I hope you enjoy my recent eats, and please comment below if you think you can help me in anyway for what I described above. Thank you. 🙂

It’s been quite some time since I last said that.. a few months I have to say. I’m sorry about that. *blush face emoji* I will let you know that I am still eating a good deal amount of food, and my belly has been more than satisfied! Although I haven’t documented all my eats (Various cakes.. Reeses ice cream.. just an aray of treats..), I have documented a great deal of delicious food. I am back in school, but I am not sticking to the cookie cutter sandwich, fruit, veggie, chips combo. I have ventured out and have been whipping food out left and right. I do admit that I have been going on and off with those phases where I keep eating the same meal because it’s just that good! Any who.. enough jibber jabber.
